July 27th - Vase Arranging Class at Dawn Patrol Coffee

Grab a coffee, matcha, or tea from Dawn Patrol, then step over and spend the afternoon designing your own tropical floral arrangement! 

This class will walk through the steps of creating a floral vase arrangement using unique and exciting blooms, which can include: Bird of Paradise blooms, Orchids, Protea, Anthurium, Dahlias, Allium and more!

What you'll learn:

• How to prepare different types of flowers for longevity and to be used in floral arrangements.
• Floral balance and design.
• Vase prep.

Materials and supplies included:

• All flowers and greenery.
• Specialty vase - we'll be using vintage and secondhand coffee creamer pitchers as the vases to create our arrangements! As part of our mission focuses on sustainability, we try to find creative and unique vase options that can still be useful after hosting flowers.
• Scissors, shears, chickenwire, anything else necessary to make the arrangement.

Dress code:

• Floristry is not always clean and tidy. Please wear clothes that do not stain easily and can get wet. You're encouraged to even bring an apron if you like! 

The ticket price includes all materials and instructions. No experience is required.
